Welcome to Philadelphia, host to the largest indoor flower show in the world! Truly a Garden Lover’s Paradise! In addition to attending the flower show, we’ll visit the Longwood Gardens conservatories brimming over with horticultural displays. Visit America’s most historic square mile, including the Liberty Bell Pavilion. Plan now to join us for this Flower Lover’s Extravaganza. 

Day 1 - Wednesday - March 4
Travel to Philadelphia

Join us for this spectacular tour! We’ll board our motor coach bound for Philadelphia, the Birthplace of Independence. Our host hotel for a two-night stay is the Holiday Inn Express located in the heart of the city. Enjoy a delicious included dinner this evening at a local restaurant. (D) 

Day 2 - Thursday - March 5
Guided City Tour / Liberty Bell / Philadelphia Flower Show

This morning join our local guide for a sightseeing tour including Independence National Historical Park, America’s most historic square mile. See the highlights of the area including the Liberty Bell. Afterwards we’ll spend an enjoyable afternoon at the Philadelphia Flower Show where “Rooted in Time” is the theme. What a breathtaking sight as we enter the halls where spring is in full bloom. This is the world’s oldest and largest indoor flower show and features stunning visual displays and world class plant competitions as well as gardening presentations and demonstrations, special events, a sprawling market, and plentiful food and drink options. Day 3 - Friday - March 6
Longwood Gardens / Travel Home  

Today we’ll visit world famous Longwood Gardens, spectacular in all seasons! This outstanding horticultural display garden offers acres of formal gardens, fountains, and conservatories. It’s a breathtaking sight we will long remember. Soon we’ll be departing for the trip home. (B)

    JOSHUA. .... a brand new stage production at Sight and Sound Theatre. Experience one of the most redemptive stories of the Bible as it comes to life on this great stage. From the Banks of the Jordan River to the towering walls of Jericho, Joshua is a miraculous adventure. Through faithful obedience to God, this former Egyptian slave, a successor to Moses, leads his people into the promised land of Canaan. In addition, enjoy lunch and a matinee production of Oklahoma at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. 

    Day 1 - Friday - March 27
    Arrive in Lancaster  / Joshua at Sight & Sound Theatre

    All aboard our motor coach as we travel north to Lancaster’s Amish Country. Soon we’ll arrive at the magnificent Sight and Sound Theatre and settle back in our reserved seats. Witness the excitement and joy as the curtains open wide for their new stage production of JOSHUA! From the banks of the Jordan River to the towering walls of Jericho, Joshua is a miraculous adventure. Journey beside the people of Israel as they navigate their new found freedom in an unforgiving wilderness. Following Moses’ death, God called Joshua to be their faithful leader, and to direct the Israelite army in its conquest of the Promised Land of Canaan. This amazing story comes to life right before our eyes, an experience that will be long remembered. Afterwards, dinner is included before checking into our hotel for the evening. (D)

    Day 2 - Saturday - March 28
    Oklahoma at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre / Home

    Following our included breakfast we wander through the Amish countryside making a stop at Reihl’s Quilt Shop. Continue to Kitchen Kettle Village for browsing and shopping before we arrive at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre for an included lunch and show. In March and April enjoy Rodgers and Hammerstein’s unforgettable American classic - Oklahoma! This bright, brassy, boisterous musical comedy is filled with colorful costumes, side-splitting humor, and breathtaking dancing. Enjoy songs like Oh, What a Beautiful Morning; People Will Say We’re In Love; I Can’t Say No; and the exhilarating title song, Oklahoma!  Following our show we will board our coach for the trip home.
