The entire estate is at its most enchanting as candlelight Christmas evenings feature flickering candles, glowing fireplaces, more than 100 decorated trees, thousands of ornaments and twinkling lights, and an array of festive displays. Visit the Grove Park Inn for the amazing gingerbread house display. Spend an evening exploring the Winter Lights at North Carolina Arboretum. Enjoy an included dinner at Biltmore Estate, a holiday breakfast at historic Grove Park Inn, and dinner at Stone Ridge Tavern.
Day 1 - Monday - December 1 Travel to Asheville/
Winter Lights Exhibit at
North Carolina Arboretum
Welcome to this Winter Wonderland Tour! Journey south to Asheville, North Carolina, and experience the finest of the holiday season! Accommodations await us in the heart of the city. This evening we’ll enjoy dinner at the Stone Ridge Tavern, and at dusk we’ll explore the Winter Lights exhibit at North Carolina Arboretum. The gardens are blanketed by thousands of lights for the season, with the colorful quilt garden being one of the most beautiful. Sip cocoa, sing carols and stroll through the various exhibits, including a miniature train display. Return to our Inn for a restful evening. (D)
Day 2 - Tuesday - December 2 Folk Art Center
/ Biltmore Estate Gardens

/ Candlelight Tour - Biltmore Estate
This morning we’ll visit the Folk Art Center showcasing the finest in traditional and contemporary crafts of the Southern Appalachians. Guild artisans demonstrate a variety of arts and crafts in the Folk Art Center lobby. Afterwards, continue to the Biltmore Estate to visit the gardens and Antler Hill Village filled with dining and shopping opportunities. The best is yet to come ... as dusk settles over the city we’ll enjoy a holiday dinner and the annual Christmas Candlelight Tour at the magnificent Biltmore Estate. Over 500 luminaries cast a warm glow as we enter this incredible estate, the 225-room French Renaissance chalet, home of George Vanderbilt. Crackling fires, glittering trees, and hundreds of candles glow throughout rooms richly decorated for an old-fashioned Victorian Christmas. This is a holiday experience we’ll long remember! (B,D)
Day 3 - Wednesday - December 3
Grove Park Inn / Gingerbread Houses / Travel Home
This morning we’ll visit the iconic Omni Grove Park Inn to see the amazing display of gingerbread houses. People from across the country create these culinary sugar and spice masterpieces for competition in this annual event. Enjoy an included breakfast in the Blue Ridge Dining Room and warm by the giant fireplaces in the grand lobby. By early-afternoon we’ll board our coach for the trip home, bringing with us cherished memories of this special holiday tour. (B)

... a show of unbelievable proportions! An amazing opportunity to witness live on stage the building of Noah’s ark. Experience this inspiring story at Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster. With more than 300 animals and elaborate sets, Noah is a journey through time that we’ll never forget! Relive this awesome time when a family was told to build this huge floating vessel and fill it with animals. We’ll actually be a part of Noah’s family “in the Ark” when God shuts the door and the first raindrop falls. In addition enjoy the Christmas Musical, Deck the Halls, at American Music Theatre. This musical holiday adventure celebrates the season with awe-inspiring dancers and merry musicians at the St. Nicholas Hotel.
Day 1 - Wednesday - December 3 Travel to Lancaster / Deck the Halls

All aboard our motor coach as we travel north to Lancaster’s Amish Country. Upon arrival have lunch on our own before attending the matinee performance of Deck the Halls
at American Music Theatre. The St. Nicholas Hotel is all decked-out for the holidays - we’ll find dashing dancers and merry musicians ready to Deck the Halls. Bubbly bellhops and glittery guests make merriment in preparation for a visit from Old Saint Nick. This musical holiday adventure brings together friends old and new to celebrate the season with awe-inspiring performances designed to capture the hearts of the entire family. Following the show enjoy an included dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. (D)
Day 2 - Thursday - December 4 Noah
- Sight & Sound Theatre / Home
Wake up to the sights and smells in Lancaster’s Amish Country. By mid-morning we arrive at Sight and Sound Theatre to attend Noah. With a catastrophic storm on the way, Noah is given a monumental task - build a boat big enough to save his family from a flood that will cover the entire earth. As Noah endeavors to live faithfully in the midst of an increasingly chaotic world, can he trust that God’s promises run deeper than the rising water around him? This landmark production takes us on board one of the world’s best known voyages as live animals fill the stage and aisles. Set sail in the enormous ark as this extraordinary story comes to life right before our eyes. This is an experience we’ll long remember! Following our show we’ll board our coach for the trip home. Welcome to the grand dame of parades, the 137th Annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Southern California. Experience this celebration more than a century old ... a festival of flowers and music unequaled anywhere in the world!
Day 1 - Monday - December 29 Welcome to Southern California
All aboard for our transfer to the airport and our flight to Los Angeles. We’ll transfer to the Hilton Orange County, our host for four nights. A welcome dinner at the hotel is planned as we settle in and get ready for our Rose Parade Experience. (D)
Day 2 - Tuesday - December 30 Float Decorating with Lunch/
Hollywood Studio Tour
After breakfast, we’ll see the finishing touches being put on the Tournament of Roses parade floats before they head down Colorado Blvd. We’ll enjoy a delicious three-course luncheon at the famous Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills followed by a real Hollywood Studio tour. We’ll see where movie magic is made and learn about the rich history of the film industry. (B,L)
Day 3 - Wednesday - December 31 Catalina Island
We start our day with a buffet breakfast before heading off to Catalina Island. We’ll board one of the Catalina Express ferries for a short one-hour cruise to the island. Once we arrive, the day is ours to get acquainted with the storybook town of Avalon, which we’ll find is packed with boutiques, restaurants, and things to do! We might want to take a tour of the historic Casino, take a guided tour of Avalon, or rent a golf cart or bicycle to sightsee on our own this afternoon. The evening is filled with elegant dining, dancing to a live band, and the fun of a live “Monte Carlo” style casino. There will be hats and party favors, and a champagne toast to ring in 2026! (B,D
Day 4 - Thursday - January 1 137th Tournament of Roses Parade
/ Southern California Style BBQ
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading to Pasadena, where reserved premium grandstand seats await us as we watch the Rose Parade make its way down Colorado Boulevard. A souvenir program and blanket are included. After the parade, we’ll return to the hotel for a special Southern California Style BBQ, then have some free time to relax. This afternoon we’ll enjoy an exclusive performance in the hotel ballroom. (B,L)
Day 5 - Friday - January 2 Travel Home
After breakfast, we’ll travel back to Pasadena to see the floats on display at the spectacular “Floatfest” event. Then we’ll bid farewell to new friends as we transfer to the Los Angeles airport. Upon arrival at our local airport we will transfer home with memories to cherish! (B)
