Christmas in the Cape is charming and magical! All aboard our coach for the journey north to Cape May. Upon arrival we’ll check into The Grand Hotel, our host for a two-night stay. This delightful production, with its creative stage sets and special effects, is guaranteed to put us in the Christmas spirit. (D)
Enjoy a morning visit to the Physick Estate where we enter the world of the late 19th century Victorian period. This home has been restored to its original grandeur and is the only Victorian house museum in Cape May. Decorated in Christmas finery, the house beckons us to return to a bygone era and experience the holiday traditions of 1890. Afterwards board an old-time trolley for a narrated tour of the historic east and west sides of Victorian Cape May. See homes draped in swags of evergreens and decorated with lights and bows. Stop at the Carriage House Gallery for their special exhibit and enjoy shopping time at Washington Street Mall. Dinner will be enjoyed at the Grand Hotel. A special evening awaits as we tour homes, inns, hotels and churches specially decorated for the holidays. Enjoy Christmas trees, garlands, caroling, and good old-fashioned cheer during this Candlelight House Tour. Warm beverages and home baked goodies are included. (B,D)
