Let the good times roll at the Neptune Festival in Virginia Beach.  Watch master sand sculptors mold sand into masterpieces, browse the Arts and Crafts Show, and enjoy a variety of live music performances in tented stages along the boardwalk.  It’s a perfect time for a late beach weekend and this one will be extra-special as we enjoy the 39th annual Neptune Festival.  Come along and catch a wave with Shenandoah Tours.

Day 1 * Friday * September 28
Today’s travels take us to Norfolk where we step aboard the Victory Rover for a wonderful two hour cruise of the Hampton Roads Harbor and Norfolk Naval Station, the world’s largest naval base.  Continue on to Virginia Beach, a vibrant vacation spot with its oceanfront Boardwalk lined with restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques.  Enjoy a two night stay in an oceanfront  hotel.  Master sand sculptors from around the world have come to mold tons of sand into mighty masterpieces.  Strewn along the boardwalk are over 275 artisans displaying their wares at the Arts and Crafts Show.  Daily concerts in tented stages are scattered along the boardwalk and feature a variety of live music performances.  We have included admission to view the sand sculptures as well as a one-day trolley pass to use as you choose.  So much to see and do, and we’re right here to enjoy it all!  
 
Day 2 * Saturday * September 29
The Neptune Festivities continue today and into the evening. This would be the perfect day to use your trolley pass  allowing all day travel up and down the boardwalk.  A host of activities from which to choose, including a fireworks show (weather permitting).  Enjoy!

Day 3 * Sunday * September 30
One last chance today to marvel at the sandsculpting masterpieces before boarding our coach for the trip home.  What a wonderful way to bid “farewell” to summer!
