Celebrate the holiday season in a most magnificent way with “A Country Christmas” in Nashville.  The Opryland Hotel will glow with the radiance of over two million sparkling lights and thousands of poinsettias.  Explore acres of lush indoor gardens, winding pathways and sparkling waterfalls.  It’s truly a sight to behold as everywhere we look we see Christmas come to life.  Nostalgia and merriment fill our days and evenings with wondrous holiday festivities. Highlights include Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Lorrie Morgan Dinner Show,  General Jackson luncheon cruise and the legendary Grand Ole Opry show.   This Christmas tour is one we will long remember.

Day 1 * Friday * November 23
All aboard..and we’re on our way to Nashville  for a three night stay at  the fantastic Opryland Hotel. We arrive at the hotel all decked out in its finest array just as dusk settles over the city.  What a spectacular sight as over two million Christmas lights sparkle in the night.     This evening finds us at the Ryman Auditorium  where music fills the air at the legendary Grand Ole Opry.  This is a fantastic opportunity to see and hear our favorite country music entertainers.   

Day 2 * Saturday * November 24
The sights and sounds of the season are ours to enjoy here at the grand Opryland Hotel.     Late morning we’ll attend the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the world famous Rockettes.  Witness productions that include the legendary “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” and the “Living Nativity.”  The grand pageantry will lift our spirits high.  To top off this special day, we’ll attend Lorrie Morgan’s Christmas Dinner and Show.  This traditional holiday meal includes all the trimmings, and features Lorrie Morgan and a talented cast as they spread the joy of the season.  (D)    

Day 3 * Sunday * November 25
Another special day filled with wonder and amazement.  Visit “Ice,” the coolest show in town.  Delight in this “chilling” experience  of hand carved holiday displays created from more than 1.5 million pounds of ice!  Next, we’ll enjoy a midday luncheon cruise and holiday  musical revue aboard the General Jackson Showboat. Return to the hotel and visit the “Holly Jolly Town” which includes the Hall of Trees, Holiday Train and more.  And a great place to complete our holiday shopping is “Treasures for the Holidays,” a craft, antique and art show filled with unique gifts. Day 4 * Monday * November 26
Filled with good tidings and holiday cheer, we bid farewell to Nashville as we return home with many wonderful memories of “A Country Christmas at Opryland Hotel.”
