Day 1 * Friday * October 19
Welcome aboard!   We’re off to Lancaster in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.  This afternoon we’ll attend the brand new production of Jonah at Sight and Sound’s Millennium Theatre. Set sail on this exhilarating journey with one of the Bible’s most colorful prophets - Jonah!  Experience the mighty storm at sea that breaks apart a 40-foot-tall ship.  Then be immersed in an underwater world and witness the giant fish that swallows God’s misguided prophet.  Jonah will have us laughing, crying and identifying with a man who rediscovers the unfathomable mercy of God.  After the show, dinner is included and lodging awaits at the Country Inn of Lancaster.  (D)

Day 2 * Saturday * October 20
Visit a local farmers market featuring fresh produce and homemade pastries. Then get prepared for a great lunch and the musical comedy, A Second Helping, the sequel to Church Basement Ladies, at Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre.  This hilarious show celebrates the women who work tirelessly in church basement kitchens.  From the elderly matriarch to the young mom-to-be, they find strength in each other as they deal with the joys and upheavals from below the “House of God!”  Sit back and enjoy this recipe for laughter we’ve been waiting for!  After the show we’ll board the coach for the trip home.  (B,L)
